Buffy returns from spending the Summer in L.A. with her dad, and she's more egear to get back to training then ever. The gang starts to worry about the way shes acting, when the bones of the master disappear. Giles, Willow, Cordy and Jenny are kidnapped by the anointed one and his lackeys when they're attempting to revive the master. Buffy, Angel and Xander must find a way to save them.

Halloween

Its Halloween the time to be who you're not, Willow a ghost, Xander an army man and Buffy a 16th century maiden. However during their participation in the schools take local kids trick or treating program Ethan Rane performs a spell that has all the kids in Sunnydale turn in to their costumes, this causes Buffy to lose her memories of being a slayer and her slayer abilities. As well as cause Xander and Buffy to forget who they are and who Willow, Cordy and Angel are.

The Dark Ages

Giles' past is coming back to haunt him, a demon he and his friends called when they were college has found its way back and is killing the group one by one. Giles' refuses to say anything to the slayer actually leaves her in danger when Ethan Rane marks Buffy with the symbol of Eyghon, which replaces Ethan as next in line to die with Buffy, linking Giles in Buffy in a way. The demon takes possession of Jenny Calandars body, until Willow and Angel figure out how to kill the demon saving Buffy, Giles and Jenny.

Killed To Death

Buffy has the flu but intent on not allowing it to stop her from her slaying duties, so when shes out patrolling she passes out. Once she is in the hostipal, much against her will, she starts dreaming about a creature and the little kids in the childrens ward. The creature is what the children have deemed death because the other kids have died because of it, Giles and Cordy, discover it is a demon called Dr. Kindestod. The doctor, can only be seen by children and feeds off of them, so its up to Buffy to save the children.

Sunnydales swim team is actually winning some of its meets, causing them to get the royal treatment, like F's magically changing to passing, never doing anything wrong, etc... However when two of the top swimmers are found skinned alive, Xander goes undercover to investigate and joins the swim team. It turns out the team is actually turning into 'fish-monsters' because of something the coach is putting in the steam, so no hard feelings when they eat their coach and swim away to find a bigger lake.

Becoming Part 1

The demon known as Acathla, is unearthed in Sunnydale, Angel has stolen Acathla's encasement where he is a prisoner with the intention of unleashing Hell on Earth. Meanwhile Willow has found Jenny's notes on how to restore Angels soul and is working on it. Kendra has returned to Sunnydale, after her watcher told her something bad was about to happen in Sunnydale, but Drusilla surprises everyone at the library and kidnaps Giles. But not until after she slit Kendra's throat, after the fight Xander had a broken wrist and Willow was under a bookcase or two. When Buffy returns to the library, she finds Kendra lying on the floor, the library a mess and everyone else is gone, well except for Synder and the police, who of course pin Buffy the murder.

Becoming Part 2

After running from the cops, Buffy goes to the hostipal to see how Willow, Xander and Giles are, only to discover Willows in a coma, and Giles is missing. Buffy returns home to get supplies and runs into Spike, who is upset that Angel is trying to release Hell on Earth and that Dru and Angel are so tight, He and Buffy make a deal that involves Buffy letting him get Dru and skip town, and he'll tell her where Angel is. Angel opens the portal and she and him have a little fencing match, meanwhile Willow has awakened and insist on trying the spell again, and this time suceeds. Unfortunatly its to late, and Buffy must kill the Angel that she loves in order to save the world.
